Brett, i am a survivor of the same thing. but put me in a coma for 6week to 2 months.i had to learn how to walk, talk hold fork speech therapy.mine was caused by an avm. In 1992 i was in my 20″s when i went to mount Vernon hospital for therapy my twin brother stayed with me . the hospital would find him on the floor next to my bed every morning. my parents said you can try to tell him not to but he will be here every morning. i went through hell. all i wanted is to put my feet in the grass and walk. when i was on life support my mom told me to fight. and when it cam to walk she wold tell me if you don’t like the situation then do what it takes to change it. if i can say anything to you is don’t let people define you and treat you like you are an egg. always push to do better. remember the old saying education does not go to waist.
