Rue McClanahan Death: Rue McClanahan, American actress and ‘The Golden Girls’ star died at an age of 76. According to her manger, Yesterday Rue McClanahan was dead around 1 a.m. She died of due to massive stroke.
Rue McClanahan was famous for a role ‘Blanche Devereaux’ in TV series ‘The Golden Girl’ from 1985 to 1987. She has also won the Emmy award for her role in that series. Now, Betty White is the only one, who is alive in the main cast ‘The Golden Girls’.
Estelle Getty died in 2008 and Bea Arthur died in 2009 due to cancer. Earlier, in 2009 she went for bypass surgery and recovered from that, she also suffered with breast cancer. She married six times in her life. She married Morrow Wilson in 1997 which was her last wedding.
