Gary Barlow celebrated his 40th birthday in London, wearing a mask of his own face and joined on stage with his “Take That” co-stars.
The singer joined onstage by Coldplay singer Chris Martin. Also, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were present who are all the co-stars in “Take That”.
Gary’s, band mates sung ‘Happy Birthday’ on stage, and then made Gary close his Eyes in front of 2,000 strong crowd and made to sung along with them to the band’s hit ‘Shine’.
Elton John and Robbie Williams greeted birthday wishes to Gary through video messages. Elton John and Robbie Williams have recently rejoined ‘Take That’ to record last album ‘The Flood’ and will tour with them this summer, but had commitments in Los Angeles preventing him from being in London.
The show saw Gary sing hits from across his career with Take That as well as a solo artist, including ‘Greatest Day’, ‘Like I Never Loved You At All’, ‘Sunday to Saturday’ and ‘Wondering’, and he admitted preparing the show had been an emotional rollercoaster.
