Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were attracted instantly to each other, Catherine Hardwicke, the director of Twilight has revealed.
Catherine Hardwicke, the director of ‘Twilight’ revealed that, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were attracted instantly to each other and fell in love at first sight. She said that, Kristen was connected to him from the first moment. Stewart met Robert for the first time in the kitchen of the Catherine in Malibu, Calif.
Kristen Stewart has helped Robert Pattinson to get the job, after they kissed each other for the first time in the auditions. Catherine made Robert Pattinson to promise that, he would behave with responsibility as Stewart was underage at that point of time. She was 17-year-old and Robert was 21.
Catherine warned Robert Pattinson to be careful and asked him to focus on work or he will be arrested. She also asked him to promise on a pile of Bibles. Catherine was not sure of Robert Pattinson, if he was the right choice for the character of Edward Cullen. But, Kristen Stewart wanted him to be pulled in for the movie and she lobbied Catherine to select him for the movie.
Hardwicke said that, he was fired from his last job. He was jobless and was in debts. She was convinced when Robert flew to Los Angeles with his own fares.
