In her final days, Elizabeth Taylor, the Hollywood Icon was brave enough fighting to live and felt that, she was very optimistic. She died peacefully.
Elizabeth Taylor was strong and felt that, she had lot of life to live. She was also optimistic and thought that, she would be going back to home, after her six week stint at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angels. She also got her bedroom decorated beautifully.
While she was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, many people visited her in her final days. She was always with her four children around her till the last moment of her life. She was feeling comfortable and peaceful.
In her life time, she raised to the level of celebrity and Icon in her 80 years of acting profession. Meanwhile, she also underwent surgeries, such as emergency tracheotomy in the year 1961. She had cardiac surgery during 2006 and another heart surgery in the year 2009. She was hospitalized in late February and was there till the end of her life.
According to the sources, she was mentally strong and was hoping to return home. But, her heart problems were too serious, which she was unable to overcome. She realized and faced the situations bravely, as she felt that, she might not get back to home.
Reportedly, her four children Michael, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd and Maria Burton were around her at the time of her death. She did not panic and was peaceful while she was leaving everyone. She died on March 23, 2011 due to congestive heart failure.
Michael Wilding, a 57-year-old said that, his mother lived with passion, love and humor and the world is the best place she lived. Taylor is not only an Icon of Hollywood, but also a successful business woman and a true activist.
As per the sources, her family would share her £360 million. But, it is to be said that, some of her property would be left for charity. She is a tremendous fighter as she over came the terrific diseases such as skin cancer, seizures, brain tumor, stoke and diabetes. In her life time, she had 100 operations including 20 surgeries, which were major.
