George Lucas has denied rumors that the director has shot 50 scripts of a live action Star Wars television series.
Lucas was waiting on sufficient computer technology to finish the ‘Star Wars’ pre-filmed installments, as per the recent sources.
Lucas film has now stated to the Entertainment Weekly that while 50 episodes have been completed for the series, no recording has yet been shot.
They confirmed that, George is waiting for a different type of technology to use, so it is efficiently possible to shoot the Star Wars TV shows.
Initially, the Star Wars projects made for television comprise a holiday special relay in 1978 year and two animated series produced by Cartoon Network.
George Lucas announced last year that, a new live action series based on the franchise had been postponed.
According to the sources, the live action TV show is kind of on clutch because they have scripts, but do not know how to do present them. Lucas said.
They factually are Star Wars, only we are going to have to try to do them at a tenth the cost and it is a huge challenge, and lot bigger than what they thought it was gone be.
The original Star Wars film story will be released as a nine-disc Blu-ray collection in wide screen with 6.1 DTS sound on Sept 16 in North America and Sept 12, 2011 internationally.
