Country cutie Jason Aldean has performed “Dirt Road Anthem” the third single off Aldean’s 2010 studio album “My Kinda Party” to close the June 8 star-studded ceremony of 2011 CMT Music Awards stage with rapper Ludacris.
Rapper Ludacris is better known for his collaborations with hip-hop artists, such as Swizzbeatz or Timbaland with country singer Jason Aldean. This may seem like a doubtful partnership, but both boys frozen from Georgia and Luda has actually re-written the 2nd rhyme of the song and they will unveil this new version.
After the duo performance from Jason and Ludacris, Kid Rock returned to the stage to say goodnight to all the audience. He then pitched it back to Jason to send the people home before the lights at the Bridgestone Arena were off.

Another partnership of the Wednesday evening was Shania Twain and Taylor Swift. It has been set that the two ladies have recreated the legendary girl power movie “Thelma and Louise” as a short. The short will also feature a small part by “Glee” hunk chord over street.
At this season’s 2011 CMT Music Awards, Jason was on the short list of ‘Video of the Year’ nominee along with Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Kenny Chesney. But, he failed to take the top honor home because it is taken by 21-years-old Taylor Swift.
