Justin Bieber and Drake are tied in their International Video of the Year award by a Canadian win, while the Mother Monster GaGa grabs International Video of the Year artist at 2011 MMVA’s
2011 MuchMusic Video Awards has been schedule live from Toronto, Canada on Sunday, June 19. Lucky musicians, who were declared as early winners at the televised show included teen singer Justin Bieber, Mother Monster Lady GaGa and Young Money rapper Drake.
Justin Bieber and Drake shared an award for International Video of the Year by a Canadian. They won the award for Fefe Dobson, Arcade Fire and Avril Lavigne. The young rapper and pop singer accepted the award from the actor co-host Selena Gomez and Colin Farrell.
Bieber had a rather awkward, but sweet meet with girlfriend Selena. He put his arm around her and told, “Selena, nice to meet you. I am Justin. You are very beautiful, maybe we can go out some time?”
Meanwhile, Drizzy went straight to deliver his thanks, saying “I just want to say even though this is for International; I just want to say we both do it for Toronto.”
The Mother Monster singer, who have performer that night went home with an honor for International Video of the Year artist. She beat heavy competitors like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Eminem, and Miley Cyrus.
