The Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan is pregnant with her first child in her marriage to fellow actor-producer Abhishek Bachchan, it has been revealed.
Aishwarya Rai is going to said mother to her resume. Breaking the joyful news was none other than the 37-year-old beauty’s father-in-law, well-known actor Amitabh Bachchan, himself.
The Indian actress father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter account that he, is going to become a grandfather soon.
On Tuesday, June 21, he shared his happiness with his Twitter followers. He commented, ” I am going to become a grand father! Aishwarya is expecting! So happy and thrilled! “
The Bollywood actress, who is famous for her role as Lalita Bakshi in 2004′s Hollywood movie “Bride & Prejudice” The duo have been married for four years, but have patiently batted away speculations that they are planning to start a family.
Aishwarya was the winner of ‘Miss World’ crown in 1994 year. She has often been called as ‘the most gorgeous woman in the world.” The actress starred opposite Steve Martin in 2009′s “The Pink Panther 2 film, married Abhishek on 20th April, 2007 in a hush-hush ceremony at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu – Mumbai.
Amitabh Bachchan last season criticized the media for its speculation that, his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya and son, Abhishek were unable to conceive in spite of apparently standing her career in preparation.
