Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has seemingly leads its second consecutive weekend at the UK box office peak.
The finale for JK Rowling’s wizard series, which opened to a record breaking £23 million, pulls in £8.5 million in ticket sales to maintain the number one position.
Most current release Pixar’s – Cars 2, featuring the voice talents of Owen Wilson and Michael Caine, speeds into second position with £3.5 million. The total outpaces the £2.6 million collected by its antecedent Cars on its release in 2006 year.
