Paul Niedermann is the winner of ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ ninth season. The junior soups chef triumph the grand prize of the head chef’s spot at BLT Steak in New York City and a $250,000 salary to go with it after passing the challenges in the season finale on Monday, Sept 19.
Niedermann stepped forward the final round well by appealing the initial challenge in which the four remaining final contestants had to make Chef Gordon Ramsay’s dish by tasting it and figuring the items. He was the only one, who guessed the right fish, Cod and got Dodgers tickets for himself and his brother.
Other final contestants Tommy Stevens and Elise Wims were sent home early at the dinner service, while Will Lustberg and Paul were still competing for the champion trophy. They had to serve a three-course menu for managerial chefs and bosses of BLT Steak.
The 26-year-old was plagued with happiness upon learning that it was his door which opened, marking his succeed. He told- There are no words to explain how I am feeling right now. I want to thank everyone, who supported me and assisted me get to where I am today, with an extra thanks to my side, because, without them, I would never have won. So thank you Elizabeth, Elise, Carrie and Jonathon.
Coming as the runner-up, Will Lustberg was not too proud of him-self, but received his loss with a big heart. I did not come out here for second, I came out here for first, and the 31-year-old sous chef admits before adding, if I had to lose to anybody, man, I am glad it was Paul.
HELL’S KITCHEN Season 9 completed this summer, as one of the Top 3 entertainment programs among Adults 18-49, Men 18-49 & Men 18-34.
