“Dancing with the Stars” season 13 has eliminated Ron Artest and Peta Murgatroyd from its 12 contestants on Tuesday, September 20.Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace was the first one, who has to bury his dream to claim the mirror ball title after he was placed in the bottom of scoreboard with 14 out of a possible 30 points from Monday’s act. The Los Angeles Lakers basketball player was sent home after landing in the danger zone next to Nancy Grace in tonight’s live results show.
Ron has performed for his cha cha with partner Peta Murgatroyd, which received negative feedback from the judges. Len Goodman told that Artest’s footwork was “atrocious”, while Bruno Tonioli advised him to work harder on his technique skills if he wanted to stay in the competition.Artest said following his elimination that, all I want to know is who is coming with me? Peta was great. Everybody give a round of applause for Peta, she was awesome. Well, first I want to say thank you to ABC televise, thank you to Peta. I had a great time. It was awesome.
Tonight’s episode aspects performances by Harry Connick Jr with a rendition of the title track from the Broadway musical “On A Clear Day”, “You Can See Forever” and LMFAO with their a medley of their new single ‘Sexy and I Know It’ and their worldwide hit ‘Party Rock Anthem’.The new ‘Dancing with the Stars’ troupe also took to the floor for their first group performance of the season. “DWTS” will return next Monday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c on ABC television network with eleven remaining celebs and their partners.
