Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has shared story details about the Thor 2, Marvel is currently working on two post famous superhero flicks Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 in the summer 2013. Robert Downey Jr. shared his intentions for Iron Man last month, and today Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed their plans for the Thor sequel.
Feige stated that the Thor 2 plot would be on primarily about the journey of that character, of him and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and how the new dynamic with his father is working out, as well as what are the broader stakes for The Nine Worlds.
In June 2011, Walt Disney Pictures set a release date on July 26, 2013 for Thor 2 starring with Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as the title hero.
Earlier in August Brian Kirk stepped in early with negotiations to direct Thor 2 for Marvel Studios and Disney, but opted not to take the job due to creative and financial sticking points that arose during negotiations.
Tom Hiddleston has confirmed that he would return in the sequel, and as we mentioned that Jenkins, the director of Monster and the pilot episode of AMC’s The Killing is currently in negotiations with Marvel Studios and Disney eagerly to direct the second sequel.
