Rihanna is leading a UK singles chart record by taking her latest track ‘We Found Love’ has scored a third week at number one.
The Bajan star’s Calvin Harris team-up out-performed midweek chart-toppers ‘The Wanted’ and their sixth single ‘Lightning’ to recapture second position. Meanwhile, Third spot this Sunday goes to Charlene Soraia’s cover of ‘Wherever You Will Go’, which goes up from seven following its use in a popular TV advert and a performance by ‘The X Factor’ contestant Sophie Habibis on last week’s show.
Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera – ‘Moves Like Jagger’, which has completed runner-up on the chart for the final seven weeks, is down to four position, as the original ‘American Idol’ Kelly Clarkson scores her seventh UK Top 10 with ‘Mr Know It All’ at six place.
Lana Del Rey makes her chart debut at nine spot with ‘Video Games’, David Guetta and Usher climb to ten spot from last week’s 16 spot with ‘Without You’ and Sean Paul’s new Alexis Jordan collaboration ‘Got 2 Luv U’ album just misses the top-sellers at 11.
Finally, Justin Bieber is a new entry at 21 place with his Christmas-themed track ‘The Mistletoe’, while Katy Perry is straight in at 22 place with ‘The One That Got Away’. The top 10 UK Singles Chart is as follows:
