Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given birth to her first baby girl in Mumbai hospital in Indian this morning. Breaking the news was her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan on Twitter account.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan welcomed a baby girl around 10 A.M. local time on Wednesday, November 16, the actor/producer tweeted, “It’s a Girl!!!!

Soon after, Abhishek’s popular father Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter account to share his happiness of becoming a grandfather. “I am dada to the cutest baby girl!!!” He followed it up with another comment, “A dada ji… Ecstatic !!!!” before thanking those, who sent out congratulatory messages.
Aishwarya Rai, who won the title of Miss World in 1994 year, was admitted to the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai late Monday, Nov. 14 evening. Amitabh has since been active on Twitter to give updates. Hours before the baby’s arrival, he commented, and as he writes, there is still no news from Aishwarya … your wishes and prayers with us … Thank you!
Later Abhishek has announced the birth of his daughter, congratulatory messages have poured in from other Bollywood celebrities. Actresses Celina Jaitley and Bipasha Basu as well as producer Karan Johar were some of those taking to Twitter account and sharing their response to the joyful news.
Karan Johar tweeted that, Congratulations!! Baby B had a baby girl!! @ junior bachchan!!! All the love and happiness…am sure she will be the prettiest girl ever!!!
