The American actor, comedian, singer, musician and television host, Jimmy Fallon, who appeared on December 17th as the host of “Saturday Night Live” ended the year with excellent ratings, it dominated its time period with a 5.3 rating, in metered-market households.
Experts stated that highest targeted market household rating since the show’s last season finale on May 21 this year, which was hosted by Justin Timberlake and featured Lady GaGa as the musical guest. The results showed that SNL over 25 markets with the latest episode averaged a 3.0 rating in adults 18-49, making it the No.1 telecast of the night.
In 2010 the Christmas episode compared to Fallon’s this year edition that pulled up telecast by 8% in metered-market households (5.3 vs. 4.9) and up 3% in the Local People Meters (3.0 vs. 2.9). Followed by this year’s Christmas episode, Fallon brought former “SNL” regulars Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Tracy Morgan, Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz and Chris Kattan. It also featured a cameo by “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” actor Jude Law with Michael Buble as the musical guest.
Jimmy has been part of several Television works like Family Guy, Saturday Night Live (1998 to 2004), Spin City, Band of Brothers as 2nd Lt. George C. Rice in “Crossroads, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Electric Company.
