Uma Thurman had best kiss with ex-husband

Hollywood actress Uma Thurman told about her kiss seances on screen. Her best kiss ever on screen from her ex-husband Ethan Hawke in 1997 movie “Gattaca”.

The 39-year-old revealed the romantic scenes she shared with Hawke – with whom she has two children, Maya (11) and Levon (7) – in the 1997 movie are her all-time favourites because she had strong feelings for him.

The actress who was also previously married to actor Gary Oldman, is now engaged to millionaire businessman Arpad Busson but says she still loves Ethan, who she divorced in 2004.

“I love the man still, I really do. Hey, we have two kids together. That’s very special. I’ll always love him,” she said.

Penelope Cruz offers a “dream year” in movies

Penelope Cruz feels uncomfortable talking about nude scenes and says she has “an allergy to labels,” but she becomes effusive when discussing her “dream year” with two special films about to hit theaters.

The first is Spanish director Pedro Almodovar’s ‘Broken Embraces’, her fourth collaboration with the filmmaker who helped make her a star, and the second is musical ‘Nine’ from director Rob Marshall, which challenged her voice and her previously little-known dancing skills.

Both films hope to win over Oscar voters during Hollywood’s awards season, and after her own Academy Award-winning turn in Woody Allen comedy ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ last year, Cruz is again earning some early Oscar buzz — doubled.

Jennifer Lopez sues ex-husband over sex movie

Two years after winning a $545,000 judgment against him, singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has again sued her first husband, accusing him of planning to use video of their sex life in a tell-all movie.
In her lawsuit, Lopez says former husband Ojani Noa is shopping around to film industry players a movie with footage of Noa and Lopez in sexual situations, including their time in a hotel room during their 1997 honeymoon.

Lopez, who married singer Marc Anthony in 2004 and has two children with him, is seeking $10 million in damages and a court order preventing dissemination of any video showing her and Noa in intimate situations.

The lawsuit against Noa, which was filed on Friday, marks the second time Lopez has sued her first husband, a chef and model to whom she was married for less than 11 months.

In 2006, Lopez sued Noa over his plans to publish a tell-all book about their life. It resulted in a California judge ordering Noa to pay Lopez $545,000 for breach of contract. Lopez said Noa had signed an agreement not to publish details of their relationship.

Lopez’s latest lawsuit comes after her attorneys reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Noa and some filmmakers, demanding they stop production of a film titled “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.”

Lopez starred in the 2002 movie ‘Maid in Manhattan’ and had hit songs with “Jenny from the Block” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

Her latest lawsuit accuses Noa of breach of contract and also names filmmaker Ed Meyer as a defendant.

Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ the costliest film at $230 mn

Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron’s much anticipated 3-D sci-fi epic “Avatar” is being touted as the most expensive film ever – with a whopping $230 million (Rs.1,200 crore) budget, according to a company statement.

Releasing Dec 18 worldwide, the action-adventure is Cameron’s comeback directorial venture after his multiple Oscar-winning “Titanic” (1997).

Conceived by Cameron 14 years ago, the movie took four years of actual production work and is also generating unprecedented buzz, courtesy the path-breaking technology that has been used for its filming.

Already being praised as a “fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind” and a “revolutionary technology” that will “alter moviemaking experience” across the globe, “Avatar” has been shot using the Fusion digital 3-D camera developed by Cameron and Vince Pace.

Produced by Twentieth Century Fox, the motion picture is a blend of live-action photography and virtual photo realistic production techniques.

Starring Sam Worthington, Siqourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana, the movie shows the story of a wounded ex-marine thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.

Advance bookings for the film have already opened in several parts of the US.
