Hollywood actress Brooke Shields has revealed she wanted to take her own life when she first became a mother because she was suffering from severe post-natal depression.

The actress who has two daughters, Rowan, six, and three-year-old Grier, with husband Chris Henchy suffered from severe post-natal depression and didn’t think her life was worth carrying on.

‘I finally had a healthy beautiful baby girl and I couldn’t look at her. I couldn’t hold her and I couldn’t sing to her and I couldn’t smile at her… All I wanted to do was disappear and die,’ said the former model about Rowan’s birth.

‘I should not exist. The baby would be better off without me. Life was never going to get better – so I better just go,’ she added.

Shields, 44, was given medication for her depression but stopped taking it, thinking she didn’t need it, which resulted in almost fatal consequences. Read the rest of this entry »

Lindsay Lohan’s assistant Jenni Muro fears that the actress will commit suicide if she doesn’t seek help soon.

Awebsite reports that in a phone call to Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan, Muro said, “I am trying to save your daughter’s life every day. She is another mess, she’s no better than she was two years ago and she knows that. If I wasn’t around she would be in grave danger. I gave up everything, my boyfriend and my dog and my parents and my new place in LA, everything just so your daughter doesn’t kill herself.”

Muro also spoke of her concerns about Lindsay’s relationship with on and off girlfriend Samantha Ronson, saying she was obsessed with the DJ but assured Michael that the actress has no other problems with addiction.

“It’s an unhealthy relationship with Samantha because I don’t ever think she knew love before and this is what she thinks it is, maybe it is maybe it isn’t, I don’t know but it’s her only addiction right now,” said Muro.

The phone call was broadcast on website radaronline.com.

Michael too had spoken of his fears for his daughter saying she has an addiction to prescription drugs which can kill her.

“I want my daughter off prescription medication. She never needed it in her life…I’m not going to watch my daughter die. Hate me now, but you love me more later because I’m gonna turn her life around,” he said recently.

Mexican actress Salma Hayek has revealed she doesn’t like her curvaceous body and is always surprised when people think she is sexy.

The actress, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, doesn’t like her assets and says people only think she’s got a great figure because she dresses well.

“I won a ‘Best Body Award’ from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don’t have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I’m a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there’s some tricks you can pull,” she said.

Lindsay Lohan was leaving the Chateau Marmont after attending an Emmys afterparty last night at 3:30am. She was bombarded by the paparazzi as she tried to make her way to the waiting SUV.

The snappers were annoying Lindsay and her friend and asking a bunch of dumb questions. The paparazzi asked her if she’s a bad influence on her sister, like she’s going to roll down the window and answer yes to that. They asked if she was drinking and if the driver is underage and drinking.

If I had Lindsay’s attention for one moment, I think I would ask her why she made “I Know Who Killed Me”.
